Fresh from Beaverton, these Nike sneakers are somewhat of a deviancy from all other Nike kinds as some experts would opine. Released for the Winter collection, this pair features purple suede and hemp in Mexican “Zarape” blanket pattern for the upper. The same pattern is also used in the heel tab while the sole has a tan and brown colorway. Another unique feature would be the brown liner with a criss-crossing embroidery. Only Nike would think of that! The laces are inspired by boat shoe laces with the square, brown leather it uses.

This limited edition Quickstrike is available for $170.

Mita Sneakers x Reebok pack seems to be a good team up this October. They released their newest model in the EX–O-Fit. Mita did a good job in using red, grey, and green accents over a white leather upper.

Nike Holiday 2009 Air Magma

Two more additions to Nike Air Magma Holiday 2009 collection are shown above. In bolder and brighter colorways, Nike Sportswear has released these suede beauty in light blue/pink and red /blue options. It features black lining and soles. A pretty straightforward collection that will be perfect for a cold outdoor. The new colorways will surely affect moods in the somber cold of winter. Who says you have to make do with neutrals and toned down colorways to be fashionable? Nike certainly doesn’t think so.

To be released very soon worldwide, but be ready to pay around $160 for a pair.

Customize me: Nike x Yoa Customs Edward Scissorhands

I personally thought this was brilliant! I have long been a fan of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp’s collaborations and seeing these just blew me away. Amazing!

I found this customized pair over at YoaKustoms. Obviously, the artist was inspired by the film and therefore went to incorporate these in his sneakers. Edward Scissorhands’ portrait looked striking but disturbing as well. Anyone familiar with the movie would say there is an eerie accuracy here that is brilliant but at the same time disconcerting because of the deep scars that resulted from Edward’s own disability. The tongue tag features a yellow butterfly which was an ubiquitous element in the movie posters.

Louis Vuitton Latest New Color Sneaker

Louis Vuitton’s newest released sneaker comes in brown, dark old rose and dark brown colorway. Who would have thought that this fashion company will also house fashionable sneakers nowadays? The company started small in 1854 catering French aristocrats in making suitcases.

LV’s suitcase business became a top line brand in France making way to get their name bigger in the fashion industry in the mid 20^th century. Since the fashion industry has also influenced big companies in the footware industry, Luis Vuitton tested its luck and made its own luxury athletic footwear.

Being familiar with its distinctive LV pattern on its entire products, it is refreshing to see its newest released luxury footware design where its logo is only marked on the side panel of the sneakers’ midsole.

Adidas – Fafi Pack

Adidas made collaboration with Fafi, Parisian artist, well known with her comic artworks produced a must have sneaker for Adidas Originals this fall/winter 2009 collection.

Stan Smith and Honey Mid were chosen as models in the sketch artistry design that the sneakers carries. It comic artistic design will also be part of the comic book that Fafi will release this 2010.

Sneakers Art Fanatics are excited to see the creation of the French artist. The sneaker will have a white base with Smith and Honey Mid artistic sketch patterned in the material used for the shoe’s upper.

You gotta have to hand it to the people behind the Hermès brand. When it comes to the word “Class”, their products have it. One look and you know class and quality are incorporated in everything. Just take a look at Hermès Quicker Sneakers, in four colorways that scream understated elegance. And yes, we are talking about sneakers, I myself never imagined the day I would write the words ’sneakers’ and ‘elegance’ in one context.

The collection is mainly made of goat skin material believed to be water and scratch-resistant, while other colorways have a mix of goat and calf skin for the upper. Customize Me: Nike Air Max Lebron 7

A forum member over at niketalk.yuku.com was “bored” while attending his Digital Graphics class so to keep himself from falling asleep and getting a reprimand, he decided to design his personal colorway for Nike Air Max Lebron VII edition, and added more of foam, too! The result is shown above, neat huh? I thought it’s even better than Lebron 7 edition own blue/black/white colorway, seen here.

As for his Foam versions, the colorways are totally edgy in this pearl/black, blood-red/black, and citrus/black choices.

What a fine result of boredom, don’t you agree?

Supra’s Rock Star is Born!

Supra has partnered with Deathwish and is now releasing their newest Supra sneaker model. The new sneaker has an overall print in black on its upper portion. The upper part of the sneakers has red suede leather.

It comes with a rock star print that anyone will go crazy in getting a lot of complements. It has black lines running across its side in its simple white vulcanized sole. And just like the other sneakers, the Supra logo is at the back heel where another logo is embossed at the tongue.

Their team up has produced another must have sneakers of all time.

MAS Series: Puma Feat. Alexander McQueen Ribcage Sport

Another successful collaboration is ensured with the teaming up of Puma with master designer Alexander McQueen. The AMQ Ribcage Sport (photo above) is one Puna and AMQ ’s 13-collection release for its Autumn/Winter collection. The theme of this season’s collection is centered on the sport of boxing, with “Power” as the main motivation and reference of the whole collaboration.

McQueen worked around the concept of human anatomy in his design. With the above model dubbed AMQ Ribcage Sport” and the colors identified as dress blues-fennel seed, it features a mixture of canvas, leather and plastic in the ribcage. Unique and revolutionary with a 3D sole that changes color when hit by the light, McQueen complete the look with his embossed name on the heel. This model comes in two colorway options. It retails in Puma online store at $350.

Reebok CL Clean Mesh Pack Collection

I know winter will be here soon but I’m tempted to make a post on these delicious looking sneakers from Reebok. The Reebok CL “Clean Mesh” pack collection has only one word in Reebok designers mind: Classic. With its summery and delightfully updated colorways, it features leather construction with ample amount of mesh on the upper, with the classic gum sole.The result is clean and simple design. Here the classic saying that ‘less is more’ definitely holds true.

The Clean Mesh collection is available in red, green, yellow, purple and silver. SRP begins at $70.

Bling it On! adidas Originals by Originals Jeremy Scott

Here’s a sneaky peek of adidas Originals by Originals Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer 2010 collection. Shown above is the Jeremy Scott’s Rock Star, made of genuine leather in metallic and black colorway and a whole lotta bling! Rhinestones cover the whole shoe and if you feel secure walking around in this pair around your neighborhood then you must be one confident gal or your neighborhood has zero crime rate. Seriously though, this pair looks comfy enough to wear and with the material used, opulence does have a price. I also noticed a lot of futuristic element in this design.

Jeremy Scott also included in this release a couple of new versions of the famous JS Wings Rainbow: a rainbow reflective synthetic upper and a white patent version with golden accents. It would be interesting to see if consumers would patronize something as eccentric as these designs. I would love to see the day.

Vans x Supreme Fall/Winter 2009 Collection

Apparently, checkered is in. These bright and colorful Vans collection from Supreme will be released for their Fall/ Winter collection. Dubbed as the Half Cab and Old Skool collections, both sneakers come in same set of colors: black/red, red/red, and yellow red colorways. The Half cab features suede/canvas uppers and leather insoles while the Old Skool features suede uppers and also, leather insoles. Both collections also sit on white sole.

US release date is set on October 8 while international release is October 10th.
